Please join me on October 13th from 6 to 9 at BBC Tavern and Grill

Please join me on October 13th for Guest Bartender Fundraiser event, this is my second year. I am proud and excited to know that my team and I were able to raise the most money last year for this wonderful cause and hoping to do better this year. If you cannot attend, they are accepting donations, click here for more information.

Delaware Institute for the Arts in Education is throwing a GUEST BARTENDER Fundraiser TUESDAY, OCTOBER 13 from 6:00 – 9:00 pm at BBC Tavern and Grill in Greenville.

All proceeds will benefit DIAE’s arts programming in Delaware K-12 schools and Head Start centers.

We are hoping to raise $5,000!  Please consider making a pre-event contribution below.

DIAE brings arts residencies— live performances and hands-on workshops — to students in K-12 public, private and charter schools throughout DE.

Our workshops are hands-on and experiential — not lecture — allowing students a deeper and more personal experience with the art form.  Each three-week residency culminates with a live performance that showcases high quality artists and performers from around the country.  Past performers include: Gayle Danley, International Slam Poet; Maori Dance Company from New Zealand; Chosen Dance, a Hip-Hop dance company; Rhythm Poets, a Brazilian percussion group; the Twin Poets; Charlotte Blake Alston, African-American storyteller; Tony Vacca, Jazz Balafonist and World Percussionist.

Since 1982, we have reached over 142,000 students.  In 2002, DIAE was awarded the Delaware State of the Arts Award.
